An effective MT5 setup reduces decision friction. Keep one workspace per strategy and avoid mixing long-horizon and intraday templates in a single screen.

Use a top-down structure: higher timeframe context on the left, execution timeframe in the center, and watchlist or depth panel on the right.

Save profiles for each market regime. During event-heavy weeks, switch to wider volatility bands and reduced default lot size to preserve consistency.
